We proudly donated a basket with a gift card and a button adapter to the Middle Country SEPTA (Special Education PTA) Fundraiser. The lucky winner, or someone they know will now enjoy the benefits from "A Better Button".

A Better Button participated in the Sachem and Longwood Special Education PTA (SEPTA) resource fairs creating a buzz...letting people know how A Better Button can improve independent dressing skills. This year A Better Button has an up and running advertisement in the New York Special Child magazine for their Spring/Summer, Fall/Winter editions. Building Blocks Magazine featured A Better Button in their Products Showcase with a positive review highlighting A Better Button's ability to help people with fine motor limitations independently dress themselves. A Better Button was featured in the Able Newspapers May & June editions. We were proud supporters of East End Disabilities spring production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". "A Better Button" will be at the Middle Country Library in Centereach tommorrow. Come see how our product will make your life a little easier!
April is Autism Awareness month and A Better Button will be at the Special Needs Expo (Long Island) on
Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the Long Island Hilton from 11-4...stop by and say hello! We'd like you all to meet Huck. He was crying this morning about wearing jeans because he cannot button them. His Mom put "A Better Button" in and he was all smiles! He was easily able to use it and wore it all day without complaint. His mom wishes all his pants were buttons now instead of snaps! Get yours today!

"I love it, it works great...I sewed it in my favorite pair of jeans!" Donna W. in Florida "I think it's a great invention, easy to use...No Muss, No Fuss!" Wendy B. in Wisconsin "I was impressed how easy it was to use!" In today's world it is so important to catch a person's attention, especially when there are so many distractions we're are exposed to. With television, smartphones, IPods, computers, and now even smart watches, being able to reach a person has never been easier!
One of the greatest tools that has developed and truly expanded is the social media world. Now you can stay connected with friends and family across the globe, by more than just a phone call or snail mail. (Which thinking about it now it really was snail mail!) But it's not just for individual use, marketers and business are using social media too, and your very favorite Sensible Sisters are joining in on the fun! With the launch of our website also came the launch of our Facebook page. Connected with more than a 160 people, our Facebook page features different updates that are happening in our company and also gives our 'fans' a chance to create a community and really learn who we are. Along with Facebook, we've recently started building our birdhouse on Twitter. Still new to the Twitter-sphere we plan to share posts from different health magazines and experts as well as post about things we are excited for. Both our Facebook and Twitter are a great way for you to connect with us and voice your concerns, or drop in and say hello! Addicted pinners can now follow us on Pinterest. Follow us, see what we're interested in and we'll follow you back! Get the latest on everything from the best DIY projects, to inspirational quotes. We're all about love, care and support here at Sensible Sisters, and we want you to be a part of our family. So 'Like' us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter and Pinterest, and become one of the family! We were invited to show our product to the parents of the Miracle League baseball team. Special needs kids of all ages have a blast! Cheers, high fives & smiles on every kids face because on this league, everyone's a winner!
Our debut was at a craft fair for my daughter's group home agency. There was alot of interest in our product & lots of brochures given out. One mom who said "I've been looking for something like this for my son who has trouble with buttons. I cannot wait to try this and I have goose bumps right now!" This mom made it all worthwhile! We're looking foward to reaching more people we can help.- Cindy, mom & co-inventor of A Better Button
